Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer
Continuous improvement (CI) Engineer required for a successful Engineering / Manufacturing company based in the Lincoln area. Salary is competitive and up to circa £30,000 - £35,000.
Arlington Moore Recruitment Agency is working exclusively on behalf of our prestigious manufacturing client who is looking to appoint a Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer. Reporting to the Head of Global Operations the Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer will be responsible for initiating and driving continuous improvement (lean), waste elimination and coordinating with operations, H&S, maintenance, process and quality engineering function to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to CI both within and beyond the manufacturing facility. You will also be responsible for the following:-
Plan and lead lean Six Sigma continuous improvement teams for manufacturing and support processes
Supporting Operational Business Units, and the whole company by developing and implementing continuous improvement strategies
Leading and / or participating in all CI Kaizen events
Improving safety, quality, productivity and delivery of KPIs in all departments
Completing capacity analysis / OEE for all work cells, identifying and elevating bottlenecks
Drive measurable continuous improvement through a variety of tool and methodologies including lean, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma
Ownership of CI and riving and leading change
Successful Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer candidates will ideally have experience within a similar role with a proven track record of leading and implementing Continuous Improvements within organisations. You will ideally have either an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in either Engineering or Management. You will be able to demonstrate a strong and successful background within a Manufacturing and / or Engineering business. You will also have an excellent level of knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and application experience.
