Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) required for a hugely successful manufacturing operation based in Dudley. Shift pattern: 6-2/2-10 rotating. Salary £33,000 - £35,000
Our client is a hugely successful manufacturing operation that has grown tremendously in recent years through new acquisitions and increased client base. As part of their growth they are now looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer for their site in Dudley.
As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the following;
Ensuring Risk assessments and method statements are compliant with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and company procedures e.g. contractor control, isolation and lock off
Ensuring the maintenance procedures, engineering standards / specifications are adhered to
Assisting the Production Team with continuous improvement projects
Assisting the Production Team to use appropriate tools, techniques and resources to ensure all production requirements are met, on time and within budget
Setting up and maintaining suitable engineering spares system to cover all site
Assisting with all start-up installations, commissioning and facility upgrades
Liaising with production re changeovers to enable plans to be met
Assisting the sites Production Managers on engineering related issues
Successful candidates should have the following;
Ideally Electrically biased, time served Engineer with good mechanical skills
Good IT skills
