Launch Process Engineer, North Lincolnshire, 12 - 18 months, £20ph 37.5 hrs per week
Our client is a successful manufacturing company who are looking for a Launch process Engineer to work on a fixed term contract.
The role is to launch, optimise and improve processes for future new product introduction as well as assisting the engineering team with best practice process skills and technology.
To manage the organization and completion of process related activities, i.e. trials, improvements, implementation and problem solving as directed by the Launch Managers
To measure, record, analyse and collate output data from the trials and identify any concerns in terms of performance trends and target achievement . In particular scrap and cycle time
Attend NPI Tool Trials both on and off site, actively produce parts and set optimum process parameters in advance of launch
Devise and implement sound countermeasure plans based upon analysis of trial data and record all improvements and achievements
Attend daily Launch meetings
To ensure that process standardisation is achieved through the completion of all documentation related to processing
Support and mentor the Process and Setting Teams, leading with best practice methodologies and processes.
We are looking for an individual who is available from June or August 2021, who has worked in NPI, Process roles and has previous experience of Process Standardisation, scrap reduction and cycle time optimisation, ideally within a polymer / plastic / injection moulding environment.
