Events Planning Executive required for a successful company based in the West Hull area, salary is up to circa £28,000 plus pension and 30 days holidays (plus bank holidays).
Arlington Moore Recruitment Agency is working on behalf of our prestigious client who is looking to appoint an Events Planning Executive.
We are looking for an individual with strong strategic planning, organisational and communication skills. We want someone who can identify and coordinate content for the quarterly regional network meetings and three signature annual events that create value to members and stakeholders.
The main purposes of the role are to project manage 20 regional network meetings and annual events including the two-day Conference for 700+ delegates, an annual lecture and an annual dinner. The role requires strategic thinking about how the events are planned, marketed and delivered and a proactive approach to growing the regional activities and networks.
Develop an annual strategy and plan for the delivery and development of the Regional Network meetings
Identify, source and ensure delivery of relevant content for the Regional Networks in collaboration with members and external contributors
Make proactive approaches, negotiate with and manage relationships with members and external contributors, and to identify opportunities to further strengthen regional activity through engaging with new partners
Project management of high-profile signature events including a two-day Annual Conference for over 700+ delegates: this specifically includes taking ownership of and leadership of the relationships around the Conference with the events partner and presenters
Identifying opportunities through existing events and possible additional events to deliver content related to our strategic objectives
Review, analysis and reporting of data including via CRM, Mailchimp and Survey Monkey
Essential skills, knowledge & experience
Experience of event management
Demonstrable project management skills
Experience of strategic event planning
Strong organisational skills and at ease managing multiple priorities
Resilient and confident
Full UK Driving Licence required
Must be able to travel to locations across the UK when required
