Events Administrator

Salary: up to £21,000pa (DOE) plus benefits including 30 days holiday + bank holidays, increased pension contribution is after 1 year up to 7% pension match, free onsite parking.

Hours 37.5 8.45am - 5pm Mon - Thur / 4 pm finish Fri

Our client is a hugely successful, dynamic, independent company who due to ongoing success, are looking to appoint an Events Administrator.

We are looking for someone who is a confident and effective communicator, highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and with demonstrable administration and IT skills.

The Events Administrator’s role is to provide comprehensive administration assistance, including ensuring the consistent smooth and effective administration of the company’s calendar of events and training courses. This role will also include very occasional travel to UK events.

Main Responsibilities:

·Supporting events and training services, including creating registration forms using MS Forms, creating automated responses, checking eligibility to attend, collating lists, maintaining responses, production of badges, liaising with event/training lead, delegate liaison, post event communication to attendees and data input post event

·Setting up and running the on-line platform that is being used to deliver the event/training, ensuring a positive experience for attendees and presenters. 

·Reporting and analysis across all events

·Initial handling of telephone and web enquiries into the organisation and occasionally face to face

·Managing facilities maintenance – including organising PAT testing, water testing, emergency lighting tests, maintenance of asset register

·Basic website administration

Person specification

·Experience of working in an administrative role organising own workload

·Experience with CRM systems as well as video-conferencing/webinar software is a desirable but not essential

·High level of competence in using; MS Office products - MS Word, Excel and Outlook 

·Confident and empathetic listening and verbal communication skills

·Strong personal organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail

·Analytical thinker

·Ability to multi-task and prioritise, calmly and efficiently

·Ability to organise own work with limited supervision
