Part-Time Document Controller, 2 days per week, £24,000 pro rata (£9600pa), excellent benefits.

 

We are looking for a Document Controller for our well-established, successful client in the West Hull area. The Document Controller opportunity is a permanent, part-time (2 days per week), site-based role.

 

The Document Controller will need to control, record, maintain and archive documentation associated with the Product Document Change process and release product changes across the company.

 

What the Document Controller job involves

Ensuring the product change process is followed by all areas on site
Maintaining a detailed history and record of current and completed product change requests along with all relevant documentation and drawings
Maintaining and updating existing product manuals and configuration charts, which may involve arranging translation services for overseas versions
Developing and improving the processes

 

Experience required for the role of Document Controller

Experience in formatting technical documents
Advanced word processing skills such as document layout, tables, fields, formatting and page setting
Good knowledge of a broad range of application software
Excellent communicator, written, IT, and verbal        
Good time management skills
