Sales Manager, salary £55K - £60K, car, bonus, Tilbury area

 

Our client is a successful company selling products into construction related industries and they are now looking to appoint a Sales Manager for the Tilbury area.

 

Reporting to the Area Manager you will be responsible for managing the sales in the area and contributing to agreed volume, revenue and profit objectives of the business through the

management and development of targeted customer accounts.  There are no direct reports in this role.

 

The purpose of the Sales Manager

To achieve profitable sales
Maintain and build good customer relationships
Communicate with internal members of staff to assist high sales
Work to improve the market position
Efficiently process new account and order requests
Achieve set KPI’s
Build a network of accounts whilst building new business to increase the sales portfolio
Possess an in-depth knowledge of all products sold, their application and the prices for individual markets or customer groupings
Manage allocated customers by ensuring a regular personal contact
Deal with all customer enquiries and complaints in a professional manner
Ensure that customers’ needs are being met by effective systems and procedures
Meeting customers regularly to discuss business issues
Monitoring customers’ needs and trends
Stock management in line with site and business priorities

 

 

We are looking for a seasoned sales professional who has sold into construction linked industries.
